Water bottles & Hydration packs (aim for at least 1 litre per hour out on course or more in case of delays)

Plenty of food & or race gels
Any medication you may need- example asthma puffers,Epipens for allergic reaction etc (please alert race director if you are doing this)
Sun Protection- a hat, sleeved shirt, sunscreen & sunglasses will keep you safer from the sun
A GoPRO head mounted, boat mounted, Helmet mounted or chest mounted video camera to capture all the fun of the day
Running Shoes- either trail specific or other running based shoe
Spare socks- you may choose to change your socks if they get dirty or wet during the event, having a pair at transition can save them from excessive friction from sand etc on the run.
A Mountain Bike & an Australian Standards helmet, dont forget the water bottles for the bike also
Bike Knicks they take away a bit of the sore bum factor on the bike and prevent chaffing
