If you have enough time, you should make a holiday out of this trip. Get out and explore the amazing Albany. There are loads of things to do, we have listed a few below so that you can make the most out of your holiday.


  • Dolphin and whale watching tours
  • Albany Convict Gaol museum- an old goal built in the 1950s designed to hold convicts that were shipped to Western Australia.
  • Albany wind farm- 12 wind turbines located 12kms out of town, the wind farm is free and open every day.
  • Albany Heritage Park- Memorial and lookout on Mt Clarence, National ANZAC Centre, walking trails, and BBQ facilities. Pack the kids and your lunch, with that much to do you can make a day out of it!
