ULTRA 8km
Course description:
Starting inside the National Park, you head downhill along a moderate track before a breath taking 20m abseil down an impressive red wall, and series of ladders, takes you down to the river. From there you head upstream to enjoy the magnificent scenery, more red rocks and some fantastic reflections as the sun lights up the surrounding cliffs. The courses continue along the riverbanks to reach your turn around point before returning along the same route to the access track you came down. Marvel in the stunning scenery and majesty of the place you have just visited (this will help distract you) as you ascend the narrow gully to the finish.
