FREE Transport

FREE BUS Transport is provided for competitors to the start area of the Murchison River Dash and Bigurda Bash if required. You are welcome to find your own transport to/from these areas.

PADDLE ULTRA: Bus leave Kalbarri Foreshore to Murchison House Station for the Ultra Start line at 7:40am sharp Sunday 1st June

Paddlers should drop boats at the start line at Murchinson House Station on Saturday 31st May before 4pm or very early Sunday morning, allowing time to travel back to Kalbarri to catch the bus. Paddlers may travel with personal equipment (paddle, bag etc) on the bus.

BIGURDA BASH RUN: Bus leave Kalbarri Foreshore to Natural Bridge Sunday 1st June at 1:00pm sharp

Bus trips returning from the finish at Eagle Gorge to the Foreshore will occur as needed at the end of the race.

Bag drop and transfer to finish will be available at each start area. Make sure your gear is in a bag and labelled with your name. It must be given to rego desk.

Event Selection

Individual competitors can complete the entire demolish (all 4 stages for Ultra & Enduro or 3 stages for Taste & Junior) as either Ultra, Enduro, Taste or Junior or complete individual stages as they choose.
Pairs competitors must stay together at all times. Pairs competitors can complete the entire demolish (all 3 or 4 stages) together or individual events. If you are and adult and child registering for the TASTE/JUNIOR, you will need to register into the TASTE event.
Teams are made up of 2-4 competitors who complete 1 or more stages each. Each team member races as an individual in their chosen stage (will be placed in their age category for that stage). The times of each team member are combined to give an overall demolish (all 3 or 4 stages) time. Only 1 team member of the team can compete in each stage. If both team members want to do 1 stage, someone must purchase that stage separately.
Each team member will be placed into their individual category for that stage.
