New MTB Feature announced! "Floating Bridge"
The Mackay MAD MTB XC Race This October 13th as part of the New 3 stage Adventurethon weekend offering will feature a New feature “Floating Bridge”
The Floating Bridge will feature in between laps of the 7km purpose built Singletrack trails at Rowallan Park and will allow riders to ride over a 17 metre section of Dam water for a cool new feature to mix things up.
local rider and supporter Brad Kirkpatrick Builders have mad the project happen with Supply expertise and tools as well as bringing together some regular supporters of Mackay MTB Projects. Special thanks to Brad Kirkpatrick Builders, National Masonry for the pallets, Dog Gone fencing for the Timber and Expert assistance from Maurice Coppo and Brad for the build. We look forward to showing you the first crossing of the Floating bridge when we set it up prior to the event… we will film it and share on our Facebook @Adventurethon Australia… We hope you can come and ride it with us Sat October 13th.
