ULTRA &ENDURO

Welcome to the Adventurethon MTB XC.

The first chance in a long time for riders to experience the fantastic XC tracks at Ross Dam. Our course has plenty of sweet single track, some a little challenging and some flowing nicely, and some flat out sections for the speed freaks. This will be a truly enjoyable ride for those not trying to podium, but the course will test out those who expect to be at the front.

General information:

Explore some fantastic north Queensland scenery as you MTB in an exhilarating journey through forested sections and open areas with expansive views. Finish your adventure with  that awesome feeling of crossing the finish line knowing that you have achieved something special.

TASTE &JUNIOR

Welcome to the Townsville Adventurethon MTB Ride for BEGINNERS and JUNIORS.

This short event provides an opportunity for beginners and juniors to try out a MTB race (awesome location thrown in at no additional cost). If you haven’t raced before, or are unsure about your ability to tackle something longer, this is an ideal time to have a go without raising too much sweat.

Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself, you won’t know what great things you are capable of until you try. This MTB course can be attempted by anyone that has a MTB in good working order. PARENTS, this is a fantastic opportunity to get the kids involved in an easy MTB Ride and you can join them if you like. How good is that, alongside your kids for the event.

This is a stand alone event. That means you are able to nominate for this event if you wish and there is no requirement to sign up for any other event over the course of the weekend. Medals will be awarded to all those that complete the course.

General information:

Beginners and Juniors can choose to challenge themselves on this shorter and less technical course. There are easy sections and some slightly more technical bits, but nothing to challenge an experienced rider that competes regularly.  This course provides a taste of bigger things without delivering the technical aspects. The relatively easy course means ypu can go hard if you like, or take a more leisurely approach and enjoy the scenery. Whatever approach you take we guarantee you will have a blast. You won’t get bored as you traverse different terrains and obstacles on this course.
