Coffs Harbour Adventurethon-ers, you are in for a treat! Grab your mountain bike and join us for a FREE MTB Skills Clinic with MTBA Coach Jodie Willett Friday 19th August..
BSP1Fresh from her 3rd Overall in the Singletrack 6 in Canada (a 6 day mountain bike adventure showcasing the best riding in Western Canada) elite mountain bike rider, Jodie Willett will be competing at the Adventurethon Coffs Harbour Ultra on the 20th of August and offering a free mountain bike clinic the day prior to the event.
Jodie says, “From experience, there are a few basic tips which can make a huge difference to performance on the trails. I love helping people to gain a new level of confidence on the bike and to increase their enjoyment of riding.”
EPIC Official 2014She started mountain biking as a 29 year old mum of a young daughter. Within 4 years had represented Australia 3 times. And as an Australian mountain bike team member Jodie Willett was named as Queensland’s 2009 elite female road cyclist of the year and had a best placing of 7th at the MTB World Cup and won Australian races such as the Flight Centre Epic (6 times), Red Centre Enduro, Paluma Push, Dwellingup 100.

Since then Jodie has continued to work with all levels of riders, from recreational to managing the Australian U19 team in Europe and at the World Championships.
We are thrilled to be offering you such a quality clinic and would encourage you to bring along your friends. The clinic kicks off at 4:30pm from the parkland beside the Coffs Harbour Memorial Pool (see image below) and will finish with plenty of time for you to head straight to the Regos and mandatory race briefing at C’ex (with just a 500m walk).
