Finding Mojo at Adventurethon

We chatted with Jo from Mojo Adventure about life, the universe and everything just because we could. With a cheeky grin, Jo seems to jump at everything life throws at her. The more adventure, the more fun it is!
First up – what do you do for fun Jo? “Haha, I like to go on adventures! And macramé…
Well not really macramé but I sing and paint and do normal things too.”
21430368_1684440368256583_1625429129244380096_nMOJO adventure was created in the gorgeous Toowoomba region from a desire to get people outside and active and develop a love for adventure. If anything, Mojo Adventure is all about fun and laughs. You can usually find them with a glass of red in one hand and a compass or a mountain bike in the other
Mojo Adventure run events – The MOJO Raid, do formal training for adventures and generally have fun outside. The MOJO Raid is a 6 and 12 hour adventure race/rogaine that is designed to showcase the area they hold it in and to challenge both newbies and oldbies in the sport – but at its core our goal is to have fun. which is why they have shark checkpoints. (This sounds fun…anyone know what a shark checkpoint is?)
Jo and some of her MOJO crew will be joining us at Adventurethon Demolish, Clarence Valley this November 25 & 26, and we are thrilled to have them there.

We heard a whisper about a secret “cough medicine”. Will it be coming with the crew this time? Jo replies, “Cough medicine…yes we have been known to carry such things with us….butterscotch or apple flavour usually…lol”
20914493_1660814387285848_1599259585538921633_nHow is the training going leading in to the event?
“I have been training the hardest for the bike, but no doubt the paddle will be my favourite if my ski makes it through the whitewater without bucking me off! I personally have been known to have “lost my way” during course setting…Dave is also skilled at making short journeys to the Mountain Bike Park more scenic than is required. I admit to not being very adept at following taped routes. I tend to get distracted too easily by sparkly things…. Firemen? Where…?”
But mostly looking forward to the get the medal stage.. I love medals!
Whatever happens we know Jo and the crew will have an absolute blast!
If you would like to join us there is still time – regos will be closing soon, but in the meantime, jump onto the website at https://adventurethon.com.au/events/clarence-valley/
